Impact Student Ministries
Impact is a youth ministry that targets the teens of Pueblo Colorado and surrounding areas. Our mission is to reach out to the teenagers of Pueblo with a message of eternal significance that not only affects our daily lives, but also our eternity. We are dedicated to spreading the understanding of Scripture to the next generation through relevant teaching, dynamic live music, worship, social interaction, and external events and activities. We are non-profit family-centered organization based out of Parkhill Baptist Church. Our facilities and activities are funded by the donations of members in the church and the fundraising of the youth.
Joining Our Ministry
Impact student ministry is free to the public and does not require special access. We do keep records of those who attend for contact purposes, but we work hard to keep impact free to any teenager who is interested. Our desire is to serve the community by supplying a safe and wholesome atmosphere for junior high and high school students which will challenge them to form beliefs based on Biblical principles and to make good moral and ethical decisions.
Impact Staff
Impact Student Ministries employs a full-time director and a core staff of volunteers who run the facilities and manage activities. Impact also employs interns periodically who offer regular assistance to the youth director and church staff.
About Our Director
Joseph Brewster has been working in youth ministry since 2000, and has been in full time youth work since May of 2003. He studied at Pensacola Christian College and majored in Youth Ministry. Joseph married his wife Bethany in 2001, who is highly involved with girls ministry at Impact. Joseph and Bethany have two children and have been Pueblo residents since May of 2007.
"My life has been changed by the principles contained in the Word of God, and I could think of nothing more enjoyable than passing that knowlegde on to the following generation. My prayer is that Impact be a refuge and a training ground for a new generation of forward thinking Christ followers who are actively involved in defning and understanding their faith. The future is now, and I want to insure that the future is good--is a God honoring time in our community and in our world!" - Joseph
